All sectors of Maine's forest products industry continue to struggle through a long and difficult economic period. Despite major losses and fundamental structural changes in our industry, many will survive.

Looking ahead, what have we learned from this experience that can help us strengthen as we emerge from the recession? What are the characteristics that have helped some to survive and what are the key factors that will enable the entire wood supply chain to recover and hopefully thrive in the future?

An experienced and knowledgeable panel of speakers from across the supply chain will share their views and perspectives on the future of the industry.

Pre-registration by September 2, 2009 is required to assure an accurate head count for meals.
