Dialing for climate change legislation, Mar 2 & 4 Get Involved! It is time to re-double our efforts to pass comprehensive clean energy and climate legislation this year. Come join us to help spread the urgent message: we need action and leadership from our senators NOW! We will be calling NRCM members and activists to urge them to call the senators’ offices with a simple message: break the legislative logjam in Washington, D.C. and pass a comprehensive clean energy and climate bill by Earth Day! When and Where: We will start making phone calls at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 2 from 5-8:00 p.m. at the Maine League of Conservation Voters in Augusta (295 Water St, Suite 9, Augusta) AND Thursday, March 4 from 5-8:00 p.m. at NRCM headquarters in Augusta What: Call other NRCM members and activists and urge them to call Senators Snowe and Collins to fight for passage of clean energy and climate legislation before Earth Day. Pizza, Moxie, caffeine, and sugar will be in abundance to keep you energized and active! Bring your friends and family too!
