LePage forces government shutdown, flees state
Gov. Paul LePage has left the building. In fact, he has left the entire state. Hanging.

After working overtime to precipitate a government shutdown starting July 1, LePage fled to Washington D.C. on Wednesday to try to convince the Trump Misadministration to extend the damage he has inflicted on Maine to the rest of the country.

According to an unreliable source, as he was skulking out of the Blaine House the governor mumbled, "Good-bye, suckers! If you want your government back, check Marden's salvage stores."
